"Laurie DeConcilis did an excellent job. She was consistently pleasant and professional from start to finish."

Conagra Brands approached IDG with a unique undertaking to help them design a 45,000 square foot research and development facility for their meats and snacks division within a multi-tenant building in downtown Chicago. This facility includes a customer display kitchen and innovation center designed to promote the idea of sitting down and “breaking bread” together.
The space features a large wood-fired pizza oven, clad in stacked stone, a wood-look porcelain tile floor and a massive white quartz island with seating and woven wood pendants above. We were able to seamlessly integrate an industrial meat smoker by incorporating an isolating slab, sound attenuated construction and a mechanical system to contain smoke. The adjacent 14,000 square foot open office area is an extension of the neighboring headquarters and includes an open ceiling and centralized collaboration area.
